Dear friends and family,

Nominations for the Nobel Love Prize 2010 are to begin. You can nominate anyone you like, whereby the following rough outline that could be fulfilled by a potential nominee should be kept in mind whilst selecting:

• Any person can be nominated. Any animal e.g. your favourite pet can, per exception, also be nominated.
• His or her foremost personal and professional quality should be the natural and/or learned ability to love i.e. to give love in everything they do.
• He or she should work in a profession (at the same time his or her vocation) with the following duties:

1. to create and express love in all their tasks
2. to manage and delegate love
3. to organise and maintain the distribution of love

• He or she should be able to demonstrate a high level of:

1. the ability to love unconditionally
2. empathy
3. altruism and selflessness
4. faith and/or belief

Such a person can for example be a doctor, fireman, social worker, artist, etc.

Unemployed nominees are of course also welcomed, provided they regard their professional duty as fulfilling the requirements of their state i.e. welfare holder.

You can provide your nomination on this page (in the comments section below). Please indicate the following when providing a nomination:

• Full name and location of the nominee
• A detailed description of one to two paragraphs on why you think the person or animal you are nominating would justify receiving the Nobel Love Prize 2010 (can also be done via e-mail)
• Any relevant examples of deeds the nominatee has done with regards to love
• Your full name and location

The jury for the 2010 Nobel Love Prize is made up of a board of independant judges not related in any way to any of the nominees and shall base their final decision on the nomination entries only.

All nominees and persons who have nominated someone are cordially invited with thier families to attend the Award Ceremony, which shall take place at the end of March (please see invitation).
